About Steve

Steve Huff is an international keynote speaker, author and leadership consultant with thirty years of experience working with leaders across government, corporate organisations and NGOs on four continents.

His work has taken him from boardrooms in Australia and the United States to community organisations in sub-Saharan Africa. He has worked with local government leaders, HR directors, C-suite executives and frontline managers – all navigating the same fundamental challenge: leading well when nothing is predictable.

He is the author of Life is Chaos and All is Well, a philosophical and practical guide to resilience, leadership and human potential. His new book, Leading Through Chaos, targeted specifically at leaders in complex organisations, publishes in late 2026.

Steve is based in Australia and available for engagements across Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and Europe. From March 2027 he will be operating nomadically and available internationally year-round.

What people say

"Steve Huff is among the best speakers I have seen over the last 20 years. He distills complex topics into understandable messages, drawing upon experience from living and working across the world in tech startups, education and non-profit sectors – from the USA to Australia to Chad, Africa. His upbeat presentation style captures attention and uses memorable stories and humour to convey key points and inspire action."

- Colin Graham, Causeway Innovation

"You always bring your leadership experience, humour and horizon-thinking to the fore, connecting with everyone in the room and providing terrific insights, observations and perspectives. What I also love is how you've immersed yourself in the local government sector, forging deep relationships and developing a strong understanding of our leadership challenges."
